Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. We welcome the local & wider community, walkers, cyclists & four legged friends and open daily from 10am.

CR1 was formed by a desire to give Croydon and surrounding areas a taste of a different experience, similar to what is attainable in cities like New York, London, Lagos, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Istanbul etc.We offer great food options. We had a fabulous meal , with brilliant service from the lovely Lauren. Everything was really good ,the steak skewer cooked perfectly and was delicious.

Although the management of The Bakery has changed, the table settings and service were still a high standard. There was less choice of menu options, but quality was still a good standard. In conclusion, a relaxing evening with friends.
