Went for an afternoon roast at 230pm. Greeted immediately and seated shortly thereafter. Everyone had a drink quite quickly and food arrived in an appropriate of wait time. The only complaint I would have would be that the food was not as hot as one would expect it to be. It wasn't overly busy at that time of day on a Sunday and I would have enjoyed it that much more if it had been hotter. Not that it wasn't tasty and well presented and plenty to eat. I would recommend The Plough in spite of this slight issue.

Last night was by far the best meal we’ve had at the S&P. It took a while to come out but it was worth it! Good vegan and vegetarian options (although sadly still only a measly sorbet for dessert - but that’s not the most important thing). Definitely the right direction for the S&P to go in. Keep it coming!

Service was excellent and so was the food great value for money

We had Sunday dinner it was amazing , all the food was tasty and and hot the best we've had. The staff were so friendly and working really hard. Thankyou very much

A warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, attentive service. The roast was full of flavour, a great selection of vegetables with plenty of gravy with a giant Yorkshire puds & the best sides of cauliflower cheese & pigs in blankets. This is the most delicious roast we have ever eaten & highly recommend visiting. We can’t wait to return again very soon.
