Very Nice place staff very good. My shepherds pie was not quite what I expected with burnt bits of lamb on top of mash potato and cold greens as the side part of dish? At £23.50 expected something much better.

The food and service was all wonderful. Great quality food with great flavours and the service was really good. Friendly staff and the choice of food on menu was good and varied. Something for everyone

The food on the Carvery was outstanding. Complements to the Chef and his team. All the front of house staff were also very helpful. This is good value for money.

Service and atmosphere was great. Menu sounded lovely but the food was pretty bland which was slightly disappointing

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.
