A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines. Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £20, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday. Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are currently unable to accept cash at our new premises and are card-only.

The Ring O’ Bells is located in the heart of the picturesque Cheshire village Christleton. Recently extended & fully refurbished to the highest standard the unique plush interior creates a fabulous ambience and compliments the pubs picturesque surroundings.The addition of The Glasshouse, a contemporary new extension, gives an exciting dimension to the pub, creating a spectacular dining environment perfect for hosting any special event. In the warmer months its fully retractable doors create the ideal inside/outside space. The restaurant has also been given a fresh new look creating a vibrant place to dine. For main meals, the new spring/summer menu includes wonderful seasonal dishes such as Orchiette Pasta with Fennel Sausage, Wild Broccoli & Shaved Scamorza and Roasted Rack of Lamb with Fondant Potato, alongside established favourites like hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas and Sunday roasts. AA 2 Rosette restaurant. The Forge Restaurant in Chester is one of Chester’s best restaurants with delicious food and unrivalled service. With a passion for wild, sustainable British ingredients, and a love of simple cooking over fire and charcoal. The Forge has its kitchen front and centre in the middle of this lovely, and elegant space. Incredible dry-aged beef and wild venison will be found in the maturation cabinets, awaiting their turn on the amazing forge grill, to be lovingly grilled and roasted over beech logs. Head chef Dan Regan, a passionate chef, heads up the young, vibrant team in the kitchen. Combining amazing, wild, sustainable ingredients from land and sea into sumptuous creations that form really memorable eating experiences. We focus on British ingredients, as local to Chester. Our venison, always a hugely popular part of our menus, is harvested from herds on estates that focus on improving biodiversity and deer health – a process we call Farming the Wild.

Opera Grill brings theatre on a grand scale to Chester. At the heart of our menu is the theatre charcoal grill and wood-burning ovens, inspired by revered chefs and restaurants from around the world. The entertainment continues in a first-floor Music Gallery featuring a stage set for live acts every Friday, and a mix of soulful classics performed by our gospel choir every Sunday.The distinctive spaces in Opera Grill are all available for hire for meetings, conferences and special events with bespoke menus and entertainment packages.We have limited disabled access, the 1st floor and terrace is not wheelchair accessible.

    Delightful venue to visit - in a quiet village location, and mixture of 'older pub' and more modern dining areas. Plenty of parking. Easy online booking, friendly welcome, friendly-and-professional service to table. Great menu choice, from fish-and-chips to chef's specials. My wife and I were here this time for Sunday Lunch (with its own menu (in addition to the other), and had a gift token (from our family) to 'spend. We were not in any way disappointed - the service to table was spot on, the food freely cooked and piping hot (mains). The food here is very, very tasty, and presented to a consistently high standard; the chunky truffle-chips are sublime, as an accompaniment to anything else!! Our meals would have been good value even without our gift card. The price of each of the courses isn't 'cheap - but on a par with other restaurants of the same quality - in our view, the full cost was still excellent value, given the quality of flavour, presentation and menu choice. We'll be back for sure.

    Really beautiful pub renovated to a sensitive but modern standard, cosy and tasteful interior. Friendly helpful staff, great and well priced menu, fab for families (I visited with my 8 year old). Worth travelling for and we will visit again. Met the high standard we expected from regularly visiting the market halls also operated by this group.

    Amazing food. Both me and my boyfriend are committed meat eaters but were blown away by the food here. I also have an egg allergy so really nice to try some beautiful pasta dishes. Amazing!

    Another fabulous meal at the Chef's Table, the food is always spectacular and the service warm and genuinely friendly. Lobster tail to start with Venison marinated in sloe gin as a main finishing with Christmas pudding was a great way to start our Christmas. Thank you Liam and the team, you are a magician!!!
