Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Our family of six ranging in ages from 9 to 69 came for the Christmas Party menu Saturday lunch time. The service was warm and welcoming. The food a delight especially the beetroot cured salmon starter and parsnip valoute. Followed by delicious Turkey with all the trimmings and a vegetarian Wellington. The children had tasty burgers and chips. The chocolate tart was tasty. There were plenty of staff to serve us and it was nice to have crackers. The cafe is beautifully decorated for Christmas. All in all a lovely experience. Thank you.
