Vulajio’s located in Hopewell Junction, was the former Gian Bruno Restaurant on Route 52. It has been renovated and there is a spa- cious, beautifully decorated dining room. If you go, be sure to check out the chandelier. Besides the formal eating area, there is a pizza area on the other side for casual din- ing. I have eaten there several times and the food has always been delicious! The staff is always very pleasant, Attentive and accommodating. A delicious focaccia with an oil, toma- to, and spices dip was our starter. They have an extensive menu choices … From salads to pasta, chicken, shrimp, and more…. eryone was able to have a wonderful lunch and take some to go. They also had gluten- free foods for my friend with food restrictions. I recommend the Chicken Parm and rigatoni with with sauce or bolognese. The Cobb salad is also an Excellent choice if you are looking for a healthier choice. I highly recommend Vulajio’s! Buon Appetito!

It was packed on 3/28/2025. That should tell you how good it was. Food, Service and energetic vibe. Prices remain very reasonable compared to other restaurant in area.

A clean and courteous place. Staff is very pleasant and serviceable. Our Ladies afternoon out was great thanks to Orange Hill!

Grilled calamari special and two different fish entrees were excellent. Attentive service for a busy Saturday night. Will definitely be back.

Good Food, But Service Needs Work Our experience had its ups and downs. The meal started off slowly—it took a while for a server to take our drink order, and the wait for drinks was longer than expected. The appetizers were excellent, but table service felt a bit disorganized, with plates not being cleared until the entrees arrived. The steaks were mostly enjoyable, but the porterhouse we ordered was significantly overcooked. Timing was also an issue with the sides, as some arrived with the entrees while others needed a reminder. That said, the staff was sincerely apologetic and did their best to make things right, which we appreciated. While the service could have been smoother, the food was solid overall, and with a bit more attention to detail, this could be a great dining experience.
