For parties that arrive later, the table will be released but we will do our best to accommodate the reservation with the next available table. Come listen to our romantic music and dine on our copper dishes on which we prepare delicious authentic Indian dishes using a centuries old traditional Clay Oven method of cooking that allows us to quickly char roast meats, poultry, and seafood at up to 1000 degrees. The Tandoori oven also bakes traditional nan breads crisp or chewy. All entrees are individually prepared to your specified taste and seasoning. We can easily accommodate 72 people for both lunch and dinner service. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

    Elena’s has never let me down! Always friendly, always a good time! The calamari frito is a MUST order! It’s tender, light yet crispy all at the same time. All the drinks are top notch but my favorite is the mezcal drink with passionfruit - such a perfect pairing!

    Marlowe is just perfect!! my Bestie and I were there for breakfast this morning, and our first impression was this place is so cute and intimate. The service was impeccable, the food was so good. She had a fried green tomatoes and polenta, I had the caramelized onion burger. We loved it so much that after we went to the museum, we went back for a drink afterwards. Excellent spot, very welcoming and super special ♥️

    AMAZING First time patron dining on Valentine’s Day 2025. Made reservations for 2. Arrived at 6:15 and the dining room was completely packed. From the greet to the bill the dining experience was top notch. Specially curated menu with a wide variety to choose from. We started with the incredible buratta, fig, arugula, prosciutto drizzled with balsamic reduction appetizer My partner had the lamb shank, I had the roast duck both served with risotto and fresh vegetables. Perfectly seasoned lamb shank and duck were falling-off-the-bone tender and ample sized. We opted for 2021 Cab Sauvignon from Castoro which went well with both dishes. Service was AMAZING with Connie. The room was as busy as I’ve ever seen in a restaurant but Connie was polite, professional, and patient - all with a smile. In fact, all the servers and staff deserve a round of applause. Couldn’t have been more impressed with this venue. We’ll be back, for sure…
