Quickly our drinks order was taken and we were told that we would be told when to go up to the carvery. We were not in any hurry and waited about 5-10 minutes which was fine. The food and staff were excellent, but the decor was basic - because the owners have clearly taken over and are rebuilding the business - something that we like to support as so many rural pubs/inns have disappeared this days.
