Freetown​のランチにおすすめのベストレストラン

We had about a 45 drive to the restaurant but it was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere nice. I made a reservation for a hi top table in the lounge. We were seated in the lounge and right in front of the fireplace. It was a freezing cold winter night so it was perfect. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She brought out bread and we ordered drinks and buffalo chicken dip to start. The dip was delicious and just enough to not fill up on. We ordered our meals and more drinks. The food came out and was spaced perfectly. We both enjoyed our meals and had no room for dessert. The menu is huge and the prices are reasonable, especially for the food quality. Fireside is a large restaurant and it was at full capacity. I highly recommend this place but suggest making reservations. We’ll definitely be back … maybe for my birthday next month!

When you find yourself in New Bedford, MA, treat yourself to a meal at The Black Whale. Extremely convenient location, plenty of parking and a beautiful building make a great first impression. We were warmly greeted by a Manager and a Server, and even though we were 40 minutes early, they sat us straight away. The menu is extensive, however, not overwhelming, and SO many great choices. Our Server, Meredith was very warm and welcoming, starting us off with water and their delectable salmon dip with tasty “crackers”. To aid the decision making process, my wife started with a Painkiller, and I a Maine Lunch. We finally decided on the tuna poke bowl for my wife and the pan-seared scallops for me. Oh, and I had to try the New England Clam Chowder, the best I have had in quite some time. Then Meredith informed me the chowder is an Officials and People’s choice award winner from this year’s festival. Please do try it! Honestly one of the most delightful, delicious and enjoyable meals I’ve had in the area. The Black Whale is definitely a must do when you find yourself in the New Bedford area, or you are just passing through.

This was our first time dining here and the waitress was wonderful and very attentive without hovering. The portion size was very generous on 3 or the 4 meals ordered. Nice variety of dishes on the menu. Location is nestled in the downtown part of the city and still had a quaint neighborhood feel. Ceilings are high so noise was not an issue at all. Dining area we sat in was about 80% full. The only negative comment was that the 2 of the seafood dinners served did not have the variety of seafood choices as described on the menu and one of the seafood dinners was not in the lemon/butter sauce stated and was served in a mozambique sauce....a very different flavor. Also, crab legs were served and they didn't have any crab leg cracker tools making eating very difficult. Overall, we would return for a second try.....

Our Christmas Eve dinner was excellent!!! Started off with the candy cane margarita. Loved it! so good. Then we went right to entrees (to save room for dessert). We had the 5x mac n cheese, teriyaki steak tips, the baked scrod, and chicken parmesan. All was delicious. Barely any leftovers to take home it was so good. For dessert we split the mud pie, also delicious. Our server Chance was a delight. He took great care of us. Will definitely be back again.
