The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Food was wonderful, service was friendly and welcoming even though they were all run off their feet with a table of 30!! It was a special occasion for us which was discreetly acknowledge by the team and it meant an awful lot to us. We will return without a doubt, it is a special place for us and the team helped to make this so. Thank you.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

Delicious food in lovely comfortable restaurant; service was impeccable; wine ordered was a quality product; we thought the set lunch provided great value with free basket of hot bread with some sauces Overall a great experience as we had a lovely leisurely afternoon over lunch and we will definitely repeat this soon

I've always liked this place. It just missed the mark a little for me this time. The calamari was very very chewy. The Tuna Niçoise Salad was OK.
