Our menu is based on the principles of Royal Thai Cuisine but with a simple presentation and a strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients that give exceptional taste. We also follow the traditions of the best Thai restaurants of Bangkok, with à la minute preparations that allow our chefs to maximize the aromatic qualities of fresh Thai herbs and spices.We serve food from midday, along with a carefully chosen wine list, beers and spirits.In addition to A La Carte menu every day, we offer lunch box dishes, which are smaller portions of our favorites, served in a wooden ‘lunch box‘ daily 12-2:30 pm (excluding Sundays)The restaurant is also an Art Gallery setting which is always evolving as the artworks are sold and replaced with new pieces.     Well everything was great until we had a load of loud customers come and sit next to us - we were having a date night and had not seen each other for several days. Can’t be helped …but sitting next to a Christmas party is never fun! ( but it pays the bills for the restaurant- everything else was as wonderful as ever!

    Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.

    We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰

    We had a Sunday buffet lunch at the Holt as a second wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were lovely, those around 2 years ago remembering us which was lovely. It was probably the best buffet I have had. The range of veg was excellent. Thank you Holt.
