Canary Wharf workers have a new waterfront wine bar as Humble Grape opened on Mackenzie Walk, along the water’s edge.On the wine list you’ll find 30 wines by the glass (they’ll rotate these regularly) as well as more than 400 wines by the bottle all with the focus on wines from small family wineries that champion sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices. Drink these beauties in or take-them home!Of course where there’s wine, there’s food. Open all day, kicking off with breakfast at 7.30am and running through to the evening. And if you’re looking for a new space to hold meetings, or a private bash, then we’ve got a private room for 20 guests along with another events space that can host up to 140 guests combined.

Grow is hidden haven in Hackney Wick with a heated and covered terrace next to the River Lea. The menu is inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability. My dining companion and I had a lovely lunch on a Friday. Food and service very good. The restaurant was very quiet as we were the only diners for a while. Would visit again.
