Overall delightful. The service is efficient and friendly and the ambiance is that of a local restaurant - it’s definitely worth visiting. The food is the hero. Each dish is a creation.

Food and service excellent as usual. Only complaint was that chocolate mousse was delicious it was way too rich. Noise levels way too high making it very difficult to chat.

The express lunch we had was definitely great value for money. Food was great and service was good but could be better. Ambience was good and acceptable and we had an enjoyable lunch.

The Hills is my favourite place for a drink. It has a warm, sophisticated vibe (think artwork and candlelight), great selection of wine, sides and gourmet pizza (I particularly recommend the salmon pizza). What really makes this place a winner for me, though, is the service: they are warm, welcoming and really know their wines! I've brought friends many times to The Hills; this evening I brought my parents, and the lovely manager greeted me by name and thoroughly charmed my folks. This bar is one of Melbourne's best.

Beth & Sam and all the staff at Milk & Wine make every meal there an enjoyable experience. They are wonderful hosts; Friday night wine bar - especially theme nights - are great fun and the perfect way to end the working week. The menu has great range, and there is a huge amount of thought that goes into what they are serving, where it is sourced and how it is paired with just the right local wine. We love Milk & Wine
