Unique, well balanced cocktails, attentive service, flavorful food. Loved the experience and look forward to dining at Basta again.

Food was good but not great. The French fries were listed as salted and seasoned and appeared to be frozen crinkle cut fries with no salt or seasoning at all. Apps were very good. Polenta fries, bacon wrapped dates and deviled eggs. Service started off to be not great but got better as our dinner progressed The burger was okay but nothing special in any manner. The other dishes we had , gnocchi, short ribs and cassoulet were better. We were seated outside in the tent and the temperature varied greatly from comfortable to cold throughout our meal.

The sushi was delicious, my favorite was the beef tataki, with the dipping sauce, it was a perfect 10! Make sure to order the brussel sprouts. They have a great selection of craft cocktails and my cocktail did not dissapoint, yumm! Loved the jellyfish aquarium and the lively environment. It was a festive vibe but we could easily carry on a conversation. We celebrated a birthday there and they have truffle deserts from a pastry chef made in-house, which were a complementary birthday treat with a candle, a nice touch.

I had the blackened prawn as a main dish. It was almost inedible as it was SO SPICY. I told the waiter, but he said nothing, literally. Did not offer to change the dish etc. We eat a lot a Centro , but this dish was really not good whatsoever. Such a shame

The sushi is always great. Service was as needed, not overly in our face. Perfect for our group. The attention to the needs of people with allergies is wonderful. They have GF Tamari, which is awesome. I usually carry individual packets with me but sometimes I’m out. Never a concern at Hapa. Love it there.
