In the Middle Eastern culture, meza (Lebanese term for appetizer) consists of a vast array of small sized, hot and cold dishes, great for sampling and sharing. At Carousel, our menu offers a selection of kebabs to seafood to an array of vegetarian items. We offer more than 60 meza items, ranging from familiar dishes, such as hummus, falafel and tabouleh to more traditional delicacies. Everything that we serve comes from original family recipes passed down through generations. With the supervision of our Chef de Cuisine and co-owner, Mrs. Rose Tcholakian, each dish that is served is sure to bestow the quality and freshness Carousel is well known for. The Odyssey is 5 minutes from our house, This year for our wedding anniversary we decided to try the Castaways and SURE GLAD WE DID. Very little traffic we arrived 35 minutes early and they asked if we wanted to be seated early? I said sure, we were given a outside table for 2 heater already on as the temp would be dropping, and a perfect view. Wyatt our server arrived within a few minutes introduced himself and was PERFECT in everyway throughout our stay. If I had to say something re the atmoshere.. the music was really loud at first a couple near us made the comment "Are they entertaining pit cobra's" for the middle eastern type of music, (On Thanksgiving??) lucky for ALL a within 10 minutes later the music was lowered. I'm sure the music was aimed at a younger crowd that bailed on their family dinner for a night out. All in all our evening was great and well worth 6K stars.

Great pick after visiting the Enchanted Forest of Lights at Descanso Gardens. Friendly, knowledgeable service able to help our 'wine guy' get the flavors he was seeking. We (4) selected a few tapas and an entree, decided we needed one more dish and everyone enjoyed all the variety and felt they had enough to eat. Food came out with relaxed spacing. Even on a drizzly night the covered patio with heat lamps was comfortable.

The mezza without kabobs was quite filling and definitely delicious. A couple people in our party ordered entrees as well and the lamb kabob was cooked perfectly. Carousel is always a special treat!
