Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. There is a handsome bar menu too, and as always, Sunday roasts are a big fixture on the menu every week.

Pho Guildford is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too.     Mist impressed. It was our wedding anniversary lunch with friends and we had a great time . The food was excellent. Good portion size and beautifully cooked. Met with husband’s dietary requirements with no fuss and bother. The service was excellent, friendly and eager to help. We will be back to sample the legendary Sunday lunch!

    It was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.

    Service is very good - friendly helpful staff . We had the festive lunch menu which was excellent! The presentation and quality of food is outstanding as well as all the little extras to try. Great choice on the wine menu too ranging from a glass to a bottle! Would highly recommend!

    The restaurant feels very warm and homely. This is lovely environment where you can have a stable choice such as fish and chips or something a little more extravagant. Cheese Doughnuts, Bread with Chicken butter are a must have. If you live within 10 miles then 100% you need to visit. If you live further a field, it is worth the effort, maybe plan a small trip into Windsor afterwards to see the castle.
