The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson, New York, is a seafood restaurant that also doubles as a fresh fish market to the local community. Diners who come in for a meal enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere, perfect for digging into a plate of oysters on the half shell. There is something for everyone with a menu including seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken and pasta. Enjoy a meal under our heaters on the outside deck during the warmer seasons.
