The most unique feature of YAKINIKU is that the meat will come to you RAW! You get to grill it all by yourself. We have a selection of traditional and complementary dishes to suit all including imported Japanese top grade WAGYU beef, British premium steak beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and a selection of vegetables, with our special home-made sauce.We only want the best, so our grills are imported all the way from Japan. We finally got round to trying this restaurant having lived opposite for FOUR YEARS! The staff are so attentive and inviting, we were greeted with two glasses of Prosecco as we were celebrating an anniversary. We ate meatballs, fritto misto, carbonara and pizza - all very very good! The pizza in particular was lovely. A nice thin crisp base and delicious sauce. We also shared a tiramisu - oh my goodness! One of the best. It got a bit noisy but the restaurant was full, as always, and it didn’t take away from our experience. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back.

It’s such a lovely restaurant. We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was the perfect place. The food choices were all tempting and it was hard to decide what to pick. But all our selections were delicious. And the service we got from Chelsea was charming, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon.

Have been to all the iterations of this location for past 15 yrs. This was BEST food by far, but maybe a few teething issues with drink stock. Ran out of champagne and no fizzy water, but other than that it was highly enjoyable. Great place to meet up
