Portland's Oven and Shaker is a popular dining destination for locals and visitors who crave artisan pizzas and unique bar drinks served in a warm and inviting setting. The nettle pesto arancino rice ball made with parmesan risotto and mushrooms and the fried calamari and octopus fritto misto with lemon and honey make stunning starters. Caro Amico Italian Cafe is located in a venerable mid-century building on Barbur Boulevard, just 20 blocks south of downtown Portland. We are open for both dine-in and take-out, Tuesday through Thursday, plus Sunday, 4:00pm-8:00pm, and Friday and Saturday 4:00pm-9:00pm.Full of history, memories, & Frank Sinatra songs from the 60's, Caro Amico qualifies for 'traditional' in the City's treasured old family restaurants.
