We live outside of Denver and Bucatino Trattoria Romana is well worth the drive. Food and service are excellent and they have a great Happy Hour as well.

Don’t make a reservation at 7:30pm, they won’t seat you because there is a show.. and then they will forget about you because you are checked in but you never seated. Overall food was good, service was okay. Seemed rushed out of there and a bit chaotic . Will try not booking on Friday or weekend next time. Need more staff it seems .

We went on Valentines Day for their pre fixe tasting menu. The cost was higher than others we looked at, but we were looking for something higher end that could accommodate three people and a variety of dietary restrictions. Service was well timed, the overall dining experience took two hours from sitting down to check paid. Each course was delicious, I especially loved the celery ravioli with lemongrass sauce. The server was very nice, he asked all our dietary restrictions at the beginning of our meal, I explained them, and he stayed on top of it all night. He remembered which of us had which restrictions, and even stopped one of us from eating something he recognized the kitchen missed. I was very happy with the overall experience, it was exactly what I was looking for for Valentine’s Day and they didn’t seem to be slowed down because of the holiday. My husband and I went for Valentine’s dinner. They had 3menus to choose from. I chose the 3course valentine menu. The mini beef Wellingtons were outstanding. The Cesar salad was outstanding, the braised short ribs were outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavors melded nicely and it was thoroughly enjoyable. My husband had the prime rib and it too was outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly! We have been to Flatz on multiple occasions in the past. It’s one of those hidden gems that you don’t realize is there but when you do, it’s a delight. It was a wonderful relaxing dinner that really dazzled our tastebuds. I highly recommend this restaurant.
