From the moment we were greeted at the entrance our experience was outstanding. Our server was Ella, she took order quickly and food arrived quickly also.

We have been to Mikado many times over the years. We love the food, service and the ambiance. I normally give 5 Stars however this time the service was slow. We waited a fairly long time for our meal. The waitress apologized for the wait a couple times, so it was all good. The waitress finally brought out a couple dishes for us to start. The only thing other than waiting longer than normal , I found it disappointing when the waitress finally brought the rest our meal, she hadn’t come by to clear the table. She had no where to put the dishes down, so she depended on us to pick up the empty dishes so she could put our food down. I also find it disappointing that we no longer are given hot towels to wash our hands. I guess it was an off night. The food was still excellent!

Beautiful space - outstanding service and incredible food!

We had an amazing evening with my husband and parents. The service, meal and ambiance was wonderful! The steaks, mushroom rib eye soup, no bake chocolate torte was outstanding. We will definitely be back to the Chop House in Ellerslie. Thank you Ed, Sharla and staff for making our evening beautiful. We greatly appreciate it! I took my girlfriend there for her birthday dinner and we were served by a gentleman named Dom. It was the best service that we have ever had anywhere. Drinks were always refilled without being asked, he took notice of which complimentary dippers we liked the most and brought out extras. He was very polite and respectful and brought a lot of happiness to an already great night. I would 100% recommend going to the Melting Pot for good food and even better service. Thanks again for a great experience!
