This is a relatively intimate restaurant with lovely and attentive staff, but not overly intrusive. The menu is a twist on French cooking and provides a choice across 3 courses together with other extras, all beautifully crafted and tasting wonderful. In addition, they added in a lip-smackingly good amuse bouche too. The wine selection is predominantly French, as you would expect, and not too intimidating to navigate. We could not help ourselves and polished off a couple of different bottles and the odd glass, all of which were lovely and a great accompaniment to the food. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays and if you need an excuse to go, then I'd say this is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.

This is a hidden gem. Lovely authentic Italian food and the walls are covered with photos of celebrities who have dined here. Excellent

As it was a week night the restaurant was not very busy and we enjoyed a relaxed experience in a cozy atmosphere. The staff looking after our table was professional and available. We celebrated a birthday and they made sure we had a nice treat. The menu is efficient and allow a real experience for the meet lover but alternatives are available too. Unfortunately the wine we selected from the menu was not available.

Traveling solo I wanted a tasty Christmas dinner in a casual cozy restaurant. Bennie’s delivered on all fronts. The small restaurant was busy but not overly packed. I truly appreciate the staff who came into work on Christmas Day evening and provide a delicious meal and friendly service to their diners. I chose the 3 course dinner and asked to substitute sparking water for the champagne which they did with no fuss. The Chicken Pate was served with a wonderful fresh bread. It was savory and the raspberries provided just the right touch of tart and sweet. The Duck Breast was flavorful and the cranberry sauce again provided a nice touch to cut through the richness of the meat. Rounding out the meal I chose the Chocolate Mousse which was delicious. I’ll definitely return next time I’m staying in the area.

We were a party of 9 and were well looked through the evening. Our host Maria was exceptional and made sure we had the right gap between courses. The food was very good and very reasonable in price. Would certainly go there again.
