When choosing this location in 2005, we instantly fell in love with the charm and history that the building offered. Walking up the front steps you hear the creak of the original floor boards, and as you enter through the large Colonial doors you may find yourself twisting the old fashioned hand crank doorbell. Every detail of the building is historical, and every picture hanging on the wall gives you a glimpse of what life was like in the 1800’s.Along with our passion for keeping history alive, we also have an even greater passion for food. We only use the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients when crafting our dishes. Not only are we preserving the history of Liberty Corner, we are becoming part of the history too.Voted one of the Top 100 Al Fresco Dining Restaurants in the Country by OpenTable in 2015.     This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we plan on going back. The food was delicious. I had the mussels and I don’t think I ever enjoyed mussels like I did here. My wife had the sea bass special and enjoyed it very much and brought the leftovers home. Besides the food, I would like to also comment on the service. If I had to rate it from 1 - 10 (10 being the best) I would need to give it an 11. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been nicer and truly happy to make our evening exceptional. I asked our server for some recommendations and she was spot on.

    I'll make this quick--everything here is outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. It's the kind of place that if for some reason you wanted something that wasn't on the menu, they'd probably make it for you, no problem. Family-owned and operated, BYOB, and really good food in a relaxed atmosphere; there is nothing to not like about Cafe Venezia.

    Wonderful Dinner as always. We shared eggplant rollatini to start. Had the Salmon in scampi sauce served with spinach and mashed potato’s - perfectly cooked, very good sized portion ( took half home for tonight). We splurged with dessert and shared lemon cello cake- delicious! This is one of our favorite restaurants! We were warmly greeted , the room has a very welcoming ambiance, BYOB. We highly recommend !
