Appetizers range from Hudson Valley Grade-A Foie Gras, Pistachio coated Pan Seared Duck and Brie to Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and rice flour battered calamari. A rich, creamy lobster bisque is a favorite among customers. Other specialties include Veal Cognac in a creamy truffle sauce, veal chop, sweetbreads, risotto and Chilean Sea Bass. At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. We had a nice dinner with an attentive waitress. Pleasant atmosphere. The Burrata was delicious and the bisque had nice texture and good lobster meat. We had the Parpadelle with crab and Alfredo - the lump crab meat was plentiful in a flavorful sauce. Highly recommend as well as the Veal Massimo which was very rich and came with veggies. The sauce was delicious. Finally we had the lemoncello cake with raspberry sauce - simply divine. The whipped cream is worth it alone on the side. Chef came by to check on us as well. We had a lovely time thank you.

Our server Nick S. was great. The food was great. I had a NY strip and my wife had the flatbread. When they did not have the ice wine , we got comped some 20 yr. port and my Glenlivet. Had the creme brulee for dessert and it was excellent. Our second time there and will be back, hopefully we will have Nick as our server again.

Food is very good. Not fancy at all. Dogs are everywhere one was just loose and walking around. No cage or leash. We saw one on owners lap eating from a plate. Music was a one man band that was very good. If you don’t like loud ask to sit in the back or outside. We had 3 glasses of wine and three appetizers and with tip the bill was $103.00. Very expensive but what isn’t these days. Don’t miss the Clam Chowder it’s spectacular!
