Yana Coogee, situated a stone’s throw away from the beach on the main promenade of Coogee, is inspired by Chef Same Lane's passion for the simplicity of cooking with an open fire and the feeling of being surrounded by great food, drink and company.     Had an absolutely exceptional, fabulous, gorgeous time with my friends here today. Dining in the cellar room felt like we had gone back in time. A nice feel of classy casual. The level of service was fantastic, with designated friendly waiters continually checking in and keeping us hydrated. The starter/share plates and cocktails were so tasty. Fuss free, and quaint. I look forward to going back.

    We had a fantastic double birthday family dinner. We were looked after amazingly by all the team and enjoyed the most delicious food. Our fish was perfectly cooked and all the dishes were faultless. We all agreed it was one of our best nights out. It was also great to not have to chase staff for a wine glass top up or new bottle as this was all carried out so well, which is sadly rare these days. Many thanks to all the team.

    Had a group booking for 4 girls for lunch and as soon as we all walked in, we are greeted with a smile and also the gorgeous greenery that surrounds us. The interior is full of florals and plants which adds to the atmosphere. We also had a swing chair to sit on with some cute cushions - cute touch. It's not our first time, some have dined here before, but it's still a cool place to visit. After lunch, we stroll through the laneway to see the pink floral set up that is The Chicest Mouse in Paris. Gorgeous! Then a coffee and cake at the cafe next store to top off our experience. It's always lovely to visit the Grounds of Alexandria!
