Please note, if you book the restaurant, and on arrival decide to move to the rooftop, a cancellation fee of $50pp will apply.     Had an absolutely exceptional, fabulous, gorgeous time with my friends here today. Dining in the cellar room felt like we had gone back in time. A nice feel of classy casual. The level of service was fantastic, with designated friendly waiters continually checking in and keeping us hydrated. The starter/share plates and cocktails were so tasty. Fuss free, and quaint. I look forward to going back.

    Everything is great once we arrived. However, when I called to say we were running late and that two people were last minute cancellations, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude to me. "Would be great for more notice next time." Was her response to me. I had just called to be courteous about the time so was not expecting this at all. We ended up having 5 people dining and the somm and service was great. Just a bit disappointed with the calling situation - especially when I was trying to be polite about us running late. Have heard about this same complaint from other professionals. You'll need to let this person (no idea of her name) know, that this type of behavior is unacceptable - especially when someone calls to politely let you know we are running late. Will be back, but would love for this to be taken on board. Cheers.

    Had a group booking for 4 girls for lunch and as soon as we all walked in, we are greeted with a smile and also the gorgeous greenery that surrounds us. The interior is full of florals and plants which adds to the atmosphere. We also had a swing chair to sit on with some cute cushions - cute touch. It's not our first time, some have dined here before, but it's still a cool place to visit. After lunch, we stroll through the laneway to see the pink floral set up that is The Chicest Mouse in Paris. Gorgeous! Then a coffee and cake at the cafe next store to top off our experience. It's always lovely to visit the Grounds of Alexandria!
