Next to the 'Old Mill' in Aruba you'll find a unique new restaurant, 'The Journey'. Michelin star trained chef Patrick van der Donk (Amuse Sunset restaurant) has made a very intimate chef's table concept. Credit card information will be required in order to hold reservation as well confirmation by phone.Not your usual bar seating set-up! Here you are able to dine at you own separate tables and still have a view of the chef creating your 5 1/2 course meal for a max of 20 guests per evening. Price $130 per dinner and $80 for the optional wine paring, small bar available.The evening starts at our cozy lounge with delicious hors d'oeuvres and bubbles, inside at a small and stylish set-up the chef will prepare every dish in front of his guests taking time to invite his guests over for a chat, he might even ask to help plating his dishes which gives a truly extraordinary dining experience. The menu changes frequently, classic dishes with a twist prepared with the best ingredients.

Welcome to 2 Fools and a Bull CHEFS TABLE, prepare your self for an exclusive dining experience you will ever encounter. Our U-shaped bar is designed to accommodate 17 guests at a time who will all dine together and experience fine dining like never before!We are an adults (18 years and up) only restaurant. Our menu consists 5 1/2 courses for $130 per person, prepared by Fool Erwin -- the Chef of Aruba. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions you may have, we do not serve vegetarian or vegan dishes. Be prepared for an exclusive evening out, where you can think and eat outside the box. There are 2 wine pairings available to choose from, our regular wine pairing and a reserve selection . These wines will fit beautifully with every course you will be served. But of course we have an large bar at our disposal too and a beautiful selection of wines by the glass and bottle.

    Fantastic meal! My husband and mother had filet and I had ribeye cooked to perfection! Sides of mashed potatos, asparagus, brussel sprouts amazing! Husband loves the apple pie. BUT it was Jason the bar cart mixologist who stole the show! He is an asset to dinner….a must! Great personality AND best cocktail on island. We would definitely go back!

    Fabulous dining experience! Waited about 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. But once we were, it was fantastic! Nicholas was our server & he was great…attentive, informative about the menu, but gave us space to relax & enjoy our meal. Drinks were fantastic, appetizer (roasted feta) was a lovely prelude, entrees were on point (short rib and rotisserie chicken), desserts were delicious (crème brûlée & pineapple sago) and the after-dinner salted caramel espresso martini was the icing on the cake! Plus Thursday at 9:30 starts 2-for-1 happy hour! We loved it so much were dining there again w/i 24 hours as we must bid Aruba adieu for now.

    Incredible! So happy with this find after doing some research for places to eat in the Oranjestad/PalmBeach area. Service was phenomenal with the manager personally going to every table to say hi and thank everyone for being there. Honestly could not choose what to have for my meal and want to go back just to try more options. The market ceviche, mahi mahi and tuna steak were all a 10/10 with plentiful sides for a perfect meal. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Aruba!!

    CAYA was absolutely amazing. The chef’s creations are incredibly unique and delightful. We started off with the virgin mule and forbidden tea mocktails - which were both FANTASTIC. Then we were given 2 rolls with a creamy dip as a complementary item to start. These were honestly my favorite and tasted AMAZING. This set us up for huge expectations for the rest of the meal and they were definitely met. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Appetizers: Shrimp cocktail tacos AMAZING Tuna Tartar AMAZING Chicken Empanaditas AMAZING! Entree: Duck Breast WOWWWW these came with homemade raviolis in a better sauce and were browned to perfection. Braised Lamb Shank VERY TASTY. came with polenta, roasted veggies. A very rich dish but simply wonderful.
