We loved it!! The food was delicious, and in our opinion very reasonably priced for how good it was! Felt like fine dining without the price tag :) We are both vegetarian and there were plenty of lovely vegetarian (and vegan!) options. Our server was absolutely lovely, which made everything especially nice. And we loved the indoor space too! We’d definitely recommend Fig & Thistle to anyone looking for a lovely dinner in Inverness!

great food but quite expensive

We had a wonderful experience and a very tasty Sunday Roast, both chicken and roast beef are delicious and very well served. It’s really worth and not expensive. The location is very cozy. I loved it!

Aye Eat is a hidden gem in Inverness that confirmed why I've fallen in love with this city! Every bite was a revelation. The scotch eggs had a perfectly crisp exterior and a delightfully runny yolk. The soup of the day, bursting with flavor, warmed us right up. The mussels were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the Christmas dessert paired with mulled wine was a festive delight. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the fantastic service. Nina and Kieran were the epitome of hospitality – friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. Their attempt to converse in French with my boyfriend added a special touch to the charming atmosphere. Kieran, consider this a friendly challenge – next time, I expect a rendition of the Greek 🇬🇷 anthem to complete the experience! We can't wait to return!

Lovely place. The staff are very friendly, very helpful. The food is well executed with tasty local ingredients shown to their best advantage. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
