A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. Overall experience was good as always at the pub, however the food experience is less positive and appears to have declined in recent times. Ordered a vegan burger, which costs £18 and it was completely overdone and burnt. The burger itself isn't particularly great compared to some better quality plant based ones out there, so this only adds to the poor taste. Overall, great for drinks but very average food (for the price)

We had the most amazing time! Astonishingly good, sublime, the food was incredible. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely staff: the server made great suggestions and hit the mark every time. We’re so glad we took his advice. One of the best meals out in a long time. A lively, convivial atmosphere. It’s not cheap but worth every single penny. A night to remember. So happy to have eaten at The Parakeet!
