Join us at Aunt Jake's Upper East Side for our Pasta Making Class & 3-course pasta menu! The cost is $60 per person for pasta instruction and the prefix meal. Last night was our first time at your restaurant. We have friends that love it there so we decided to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner there. Nothing disappointed! Went there with some family members…Our waiter Angel was the BEST! Fun, friendly, smart and efficient! We had shrimp cocktail that was delicious! Caesar salad, just ok. Porterhouse for two was AMAZING. And the corn brulet was outrageous! The sweet potato fries were tasteless… the owner or manager came over and we mentioned that- he said they were new and tasted it and agreed … but oddly didn’t take that off the bill. Just a suggestion for them for next time … I would definitely return though!

The food here is always great. I had the lamb and sea (lamb chops and shrimp) which was one of the specials. The lamb was cooked just as I asked (medium) and was a nice portion, along with 5 or 6 shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also had the mussels for an appetizer, some of the best I have had. Everyone at our table was too full for dessert. In fact, 3 out of the 5 of us took home leftovers. Nick’s Bistro remains one of our favorite restaurants both for the food and the value, as well as the friendly, attentive wait staff.
