Great restaurant, food excellent if a little pricey. The family loved the experience- our waiter (Pete) was exceptional and helped contribute to a splendid evening.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent as well as the service. I'm gluten-free, and there was so much choice.plus, there was a good selection of wines to choose from. We will definitely go again.

As usual we really enjoyed our visit to the Minster Refectory . The service by Marcus and team was excellent, friendly and very professional. We had the 3 course Sunday offer, which was delicious. The beef comes pink, which we were advised of on ordering, , and was very tender, plus there was a good selection of vegetables. Will definitely be returning.

Went to this restaurant with my family. We're all vegetarian/vegan, and I grew up in Hong Kong and greatly enjoy Asian cuisine. All of the dishes were delicious! (we got spring rolls, prawns, mixed vegetables and tofu, Thai style chicken and Cantonese style char siu). No complaints about the food: price and portion sizes were very reasonable. Would 100% recommend, and I'd love to come back the next time I'm in York :)
