Although another friend had recommended The George it’s always a gamble when you have not been before. There was no need to worry as the ambience and quality of food was fantastic. I also got a scoop of ice cream with a candle in on the house! I always love coming here, it feels so sophisticated and classy but laid back at the same time. Just a few tweaks to bring the food up to scratch, we had Sunday lunch here before and had to send back parsnips as not cooked.
