The Ring O’ Bells is located in the heart of the picturesque Cheshire village Christleton. Recently extended & fully refurbished to the highest standard the unique plush interior creates a fabulous ambience and compliments the pubs picturesque surroundings.The addition of The Glasshouse, a contemporary new extension, gives an exciting dimension to the pub, creating a spectacular dining environment perfect for hosting any special event. AA 2 Rosette restaurant. The Forge Restaurant in Chester is one of Chester’s best restaurants with delicious food and unrivalled service. With a passion for wild, sustainable British ingredients, and a love of simple cooking over fire and charcoal. The Forge has its kitchen front and centre in the middle of this lovely, and elegant space. Incredible dry-aged beef and wild venison will be found in the maturation cabinets, awaiting their turn on the amazing forge grill, to be lovingly grilled and roasted over beech logs. Head chef Dan Regan, a passionate chef, heads up the young, vibrant team in the kitchen. Combining amazing, wild, sustainable ingredients from land and sea into sumptuous creations that form really memorable eating experiences. We focus on British ingredients, as local to Chester. Our venison, always a hugely popular part of our menus, is harvested from herds on estates that focus on improving biodiversity and deer health – a process we call Farming the Wild.

We had a email from the Oakfield saying there was an offer for 2 for 1 for meals until 6th January. Today at The Oakfield the waitress said the offer does not include Sundays, there was nothing on the email stating that you can’t use it on Sundays. We think that you should be clear and open about your rules so people are not caught out and embarrassed when expecting a deal and being disappointed.

We had an excellent meal last night. My son had the ploughman's, huge. Excellent value for money. We come here a few times a year for birthdays etc, and I come with friends. The 2 courses for £22 is really good. Irs do nice to be able to bring the dog and the roaring fire was a bonus on a chilly, damp evening.

Excellent place to visit, nice large airy rooms, food fantastic flavours and plentiful portions. The staff were always in attendance. Overall a very nice experience and we will be back for more of the same.

Excellent good , can really taste the quality and the flavours , would definitely return to try the rest of the menu , tiramisu is worth the hype was stunning light and not too heavy perfect to finish off a meal
