Service was great, food was tasty & perfectly prepared and the ambience couldn’t be better for this time of the year.

As always, service and food preparation consistently excellent. House salad crisp and fresh. Steaks cooked as ordered. Chocolate Lava Cake Sweet and perfect for 2. Juliet, our server, was friendly and attentive with hovering over us. She was a delight. This restaurant has been a favorite of our for 30+ years.

Strip steak was excellent, but it should be for the price and the portion size. There is no more complementary bread basket – you need to pay $16 for Parker house rolls dessert which was the apple cobbler was missing the whipped cream.

An outstanding experience. I have been going there for years, and every year celebrate my birthday there. The atmosphere is restful and comforting, the staff a pleasure and the restaurant outstanding. I love the bar.

Food was top notch, as always. There were 11 of us, everyone had something different and not one person complained. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, no one wanted for anything. Before we could ask for anything one of the waitstaff was already walking up to the table with it. The Spain Inn 2 is a hidden roadside Hunterdon county gem!!
