Head Chef Dylan James' dishes pay homage to the British countryside, and embrace the nature of the seasons. Very welcoming staff and excellent food. Enjoyed sitting by the log fire with our drinks after ordering our food. Lovely bar area by the fire with wood panelling but spoilt by 3 pictures all the same but different colours. One with what seemed red blood painted dripping from the painting over the frame ! Rather destroyed the otherwise lovely ambience

The restaurant decor was modern with a hint of nautical so immediately we appreciated the thought put into the overall dining experience. The waitstaff were polite, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a variety of small plates including the nigiri (the salmon was outstanding), tuna tataki, Australian sliced steak, and miso cod. The special sea bream with Asian slaw and new potatoes was also excellent. To our surprise, a new favorite cocktail is now the lychee and cucumber martini.
