Staff apologised & offered us olives & nuts. Was promised nibbles at the table, but they did not arrive. The waitress was lovely & very attentive. Provided guidance regarding the menu, & advice on different dishes. Food was delicious- very special. My wife received a complimentary birthday cake with candle, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend the all-in roast, which comes with huge Yorkshire Puddings, lots of vegetables including roast potatoes (nearly as good as mine 😉), melt in the mouth beef, lamb, and pork, and a beautifully rich gravy. Save room for their bread and butter pudding - perfect comfort food. Our 6th visit to Blacklock Manchester after many years frequenting the Soho branch in London. Everyone works so hard to make sure your experience is the best and the food and its presentation is out of this world with every meal being explained as it arrives from the kitchen. My advice would be to sit at the bar and watch the hard working staff prepare everything to perfection. We went with the set menu and when we were intrigued as to what was in the ingredients Chef took time to not only tell us but also show us the produce which is grown by them in Cheshire.
