Our Croydon Taphouse is open to the public five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday.     Great food, amazing wine list, beautiful breeze through big open windows on a lovely summer evening with friends. This place is a big draw card in The Basin! Staff were super friendly and helpful. They adapted a couple of dishes for us which was fab. Would definitely recommend to others as a good place for a meal to celebrate , or just because!

    We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.

    At the base of the Sherbrooke Forest just out of Belgrave is this little distillery is a gem. With private nooks, outdoor seating & tasting area, it has something for everyone. The cocktails are as fancy as the food and staff are lovely and attentive. As a local, I love to take my interstate & overseas guests here to showcase what great places we have here in the hills.
