A piano player fills the place with all types of music which is one reason you know you’re not in Algiers. The other is the fantastic menu items which were strongly American. We had a prime filet that was very tender and tasty and a two inch thick grouper that matched. The waitress had been there for four years and was able to cover her stations with easy. Our server was exceptionally kind and attentive, enhancing our dining experience. The food was truly outstanding—some of the best we have ever enjoyed. I highly recommend the scallops and the black and blue ribeye; both dishes were exquisite. The crab cakes were unique in presentation, and the crème brûlée was freshly made, featuring the delightful contrast of a cold center and a warm top—a rarity these days! We also had the pleasure of sampling their Polish liqueur, which was delicious and delightfully potent.
