We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     友人と4人でサンデーローストのAll-inを頂きました。牛豚羊の3種類をこのAll-inの一皿で楽しむことができます。お肉のほかに、スプラウトとニンジンとポテト、ヨークシャープディングが同じお皿に乗っています。お肉ばどれもジューシーで別添えのグレイビーソースと一緒に4人でペロリ、大満足です。見た目も一皿に人数分盛られたお肉が大迫力で圧倒されました。(All-inの場合注文は最低2名からです。)お写真映えします。また来たいと思いました！気をつけたいのが、とても人気のお店なので予約日の一ヶ月程前にふと予約状況を確認するとどの日曜日も予約できず一ヶ月以上先の日曜日に空きを見つけました。1ヶ月くらい余裕を見て早めに予約するのが良いと思います。

    運河に浮かぶ壮大なフローティングシップのようなかっこいい店。子供とお肉をガッツリ食べました。シャトーブリアン500gとサーロイン400gをシェア。前菜シーザーサラダ半分、サイドはキャベツのバター炒めを少し。いきなりステーキ使いでフードだけで100£くらい。でした。1.7万円くらい。悪くないです。

    LDN1番人気のステーキハウス。 若者に人気のスビタルフィールズ店を利用。 セブンダイアルのお店とは違うカジュアルな店。 食事は前菜サラダとフィレをいただきました。 間違いのない肉本来の味を堪能。 もうガッツリ行けないのが悔しい‼️
