Absolutely amazing. Staff really friendly, helpful and lovely. Decor was beautiful, menu was great with lots of lovely vegetarian options ( instead of just vegan to make it simple for the venue). Such a lovely place.

When visiting the White Horse it is always welcoming and you immediately feel at home. A roaring fire and lovely staff. We both had a large plate and a pudding and the food was excellent. We had a seafood pie and a beef and ale pie which was a special. The tastes were out of this world. For puddings we had a croissant and butter pudding with ice cream and a crème brûlée. Again they were so different to normal fayre and a real pleasure. The combination of lovely ambience and special food was a lovely experience.

The menu was varied. 4 of our party had the gammon,egg and chips, I had the chicken ceasar salad. Everyone's plate was cleared and we all had just a little room for pudding.

Our only comment is that the menu wasn't the same as the one on the website.

A lovely Sunday yesterday with the family, really good atmosphere, excellent service !
