McKee's Brasserie has become the gourmet headquarters for Balsall Common villagers and foodies from neighbouring Coventry and Solihull. The warm and inviting coffee and caramel toned dining room is traditional with its candlelit tables and low-lit lamps, and treats from the restaurant's modern Brit menu include the tiger prawn salad in a lime, coriander, lemon, soy and garlic dressing; the half a duck served with leek and strips of bacon topped with port sauce; and the warm brownie served with berries and pistachio ice cream.
