The Spread Eagle Restaurant offers diners a perfect balance of old and new with an accomplished menu of modern classic British food served in the hotel historic restaurant. The candlelit restaurant with its huge inglenook fireplace is a wonderful venue for everything from a romantic dinner for two to a family lunch.In the warmer months lunch is also served in the more relaxed atmosphere of the Conservatory and Terrace. And the hotel's inner courtyard offers a discreet spot for al fresco dining. Private dining for parties or business meetings is available in The Spread Eagle's private dining rooms rooms.The Spread Eagle Gin Bar offers more than 100 different gins - some more unusual than others - and over 12 different tonics on offer, guests can create their own gin journey and complete their cocktail from a menu of fresh garnishes, many home-grown from the hotel garden.

Just a mile down the hill from Goodwood Race Course we are 12 minutes drive from Chichester. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner we try to source our ingredients as locally and as seasonally as possible. Whether you are at a Goodwood Event or walking, cycling or just out for a drive and fancy a decent meal at reasonable prices, we like to think we are one of the best around. We have a great courtyard and garden space which can seat up to 100 people. Freshly ground coffee is available all day. With a mixture of local people and tourists there's always a warm welcome here.
