Pietramala is a little restaurant located in Northern Liberties celebrating plants, wood-fire cooking and seasonality. We offer a small, regularly changing menu based on the highest quality, organic ingredients grown or made with care in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic. Our Italian leaning, but globally inspired food is always presented simply with familiar flavors achieved in creative new ways. Often touched by fire, smoke or fermentation to unlock unique flavors, our dishes sometimes require days or even months of preparation. We pride ourselves on our open kitchen, where our wood-fired hearth takes center stage, and our commitment to friendly service and warm hospitality in an intimate, but lively atmosphere.     Had a birthday dinner for a family member and it included a table of 10 people. Accommodating a crowd that large on a holiday weekend would normally be a challenge for any restaurant. Amada was fantastic. From our gracious greeting to the semi private room we were escorted to, to the individual coat tree next to the table to accommodate 10 winter coats, an unusual and very welcome detail, to the stellar personal and professional service, outstanding food and pacing of courses, everyone had something to please their taste and the overall experience was wonderful. Truly a memorable birthday dinner! It was a well-oiled machine, and we enjoyed it immensely. Kudos to the Amada team for a lovely lively evening.

    Jordan was our server and she was amazingly friendly. She went above and beyond and made us laugh. Chrissa was the one that sold me my social membership and she remembered me and came over and checked on me and my party. Just when I thought hospitality didn't exist anymore Chrissa and Jordan restored my faith. I look forward to coming back and seeing them again. Great job hiring those two!

    We went for my daughter's birthday dinner. The food was delicious, from the drinks, to the apps, and our main courses. The ambiance was great, and the service was excellent! We will definitely be back in the future. 👍👍

    This was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The dishes are so beautifully composed and presented. The service was impeccable and the staff was super knowledgable about all potential allergens and ingredients. Just perfection. It didn’t hurt that my favorite movies were playing on the big screen. The “crab” cakes and broccoli are must-have dishes.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our burger and spicy pork tacos. We usually have the fried chicken and/or the ramen, but decided to try something different. We weren’t disappointed.
