It is surprising that a high end restaurant offers no gluten free bread, roll, or breadsticks to customers who are gluten-free. As with lesser restaurants, my wife had brought her oun gluten-free crackers to eat while I enjoyed the fresh warm bread. I felt badly for her. The side dish, au gratin potatoes contained gluten which I cannot eat, so I told the server and they substituted a very generous portion of a gluten-free pasta with my selected sauce. It was my wife’s birthday so they comped our first drinks.  it was an all-around wonderful experience: great food, great service, great atmosphere.
