Being in the US offers a chef a lot of exciting possibilities to play with the ingredients that are not commonly found in India. We are availing these opportunities to create an exciting menu that has a blend of traditional favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala and creative dishes like Bengal Fish Curry (made with Salmon that is not usually found in India). We have changed up the menu since re-opening this fall [2023] . We are catering more now to our wonderful neighborhood, and neighbors. So be prepared for a totally different menu than the old "579". That vibe and style of the old "579" can still be experienced at our sister restaurant, Chardonnay in Seekonk, just 12 minutes down the road. Thank you,Al Castiglioni

    Pane E Vino was the perfect place to have a family gathering the day after Christmas. Autumn was our lead server and she handled all our requests with diligence and a smile. The appetizers, main courses, drinks, and desserts were very much enjoyed tonight. The whole staff was great refilling water and checking in at just the right moments. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

    Dear India restaurant team, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making my birthday celebrations so special year after year. Your restaurant has become my go-to spot to celebrate, and every visit reminds me why I keep returning. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, with the perfect ambiance for a birthday gathering. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, making me feel like a VIP each time I walk in. I particularly appreciate the little birthday surprises, like the personalized dessert or the birthday song – it’s those thoughtful details that make my experience unforgettable. The food is, of course, exceptional. I always look forward to my favorite dish, Rajma, Kale salad, and it never disappoints. The quality and presentation are always top-notch. Overall, I’m always delighted with my experience at India and I can’t imagine celebrating my birthday anywhere else. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable experience.     We had 7pm reservations but arrived a little early so went to the bar to order drinks and saw that there were 2 empty seats. We ended up eating at the bar. The service was great as well as the food! Everything was delicious! The young man who was bartending was very friendly and attentive.
