Avon​の地元産の食材を使った料理が食べられるお店

The food was great. It was a half an hour before we were seated and we got off to a slower start. Once the order was placed, however the service picked up and everything was really delicious.

Overall food & service was great. We liked the menu as good selection of appetizers & entrees along with small plate offerings. We ordered several items to share & waitress did a great job of staging. Only small comment was we did not get clean plates with each service. Good ambience & noise level.

We ate at many top rated restaurants during our week in Avon/Beaver Creek/Vail and this was our absolute favorite. Everything from the aged ribeye and mushroom risotto to the house made rabbit tortellini to the house salad, fried calamari, Italian sodas and tiramisu were excellent. Our server was attentive and responsive but never overbearing and we were treated to complimentary appetizer bites and a table side visit by the chef. Plus our final check was about half of what we paid in Beavercreek Village. We will be back!!

It had been years since we have been back to Grouse. More largely because hosting larger groups invited more casual gatherings at home. 2/19 was a special night in that it was my wife’s birthday and I had hoped for an evening to “connect”, to slow down, pause and reflect the BLESSING that she IS and the many HE has known our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were GREETED by “Love”, a heart that appeared to “anticipate” our arrival. We were about 15 minutes early and when I offered that we would be happy to sit at the bar until our table was available, the hostess was quick to say, oh no, “YOUR Table is ready and awaiting your arrival. We have a very special, romantic table by the windows, one of best views. Happy Birthday Mrs. Bishop”. What a JOY it is to be RECEIVED with such intentionality…like, Family. To our delight and surprise, we were then GREETED…WELCOMED once again with 2 glasses of Champagne by the Manager to add to our Celebration. Bubbly just happens to be my wife’s favorite, the table was “set” for all that I had hoped…PRAYED for that this evening might be. Our server, Robert added only more to our delight through his desire to offer us the fullness of the menu…the Chef’s Specials as an alternative to a menu that had already beckoned our fascination. Everything looked amazing…comprehensive and interestingly too, all our favorites. We opted for veggies as a starter, the Brussel Sprouts were on a different level, without question the best we had ever had…charred perfectly, sweet yet not overpowering. The serving was SO large we could have skipped the main course. The Cauliflower was out of this world. SO good, I could not resist sharing with my Birthday girl. We were like, “already tonight is a 10, what could possibly be next”. Full from homemade breads, delicious app’s, my wife ordered beef carpaccio for her main and I went for a lighter main, black cod. Within minutes, they both evaporate from our plates. Bravo Grouse!

We loved the food, especially the wings and the Remedy Burger. The desserts also were chef's kiss, particularly the chocolate chip cookie skillet, sticky toffee pudding and huckleberry tart. Just a great night for two families traveling together.
