We take reservations up to 14 days in advance (at 12am midnight)Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items including a kaiseki plate, soup,selection of seasonal nigiri and dessert. . An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Service was excellent. My husband ordered the pizza, and was disappointed as it didn't have that wood fired taste that Paese pizza's have been known for. Everyone else's meal was good. There was someone behind the bar that was making akward noises and doing so persistently and very loudly. Unfortunately, it kept disrupting our conversation's. Overall, the service was excellent, as was our server. Hopefully they'll bring back their oh-so-delicious wood fired pizza!!

I cannot say enough good things about this evening’s dinner. We absolutely loved chef Bennett. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was even better. 5 out of 5 stars. We will 100% be back!

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.
