With Infini meaning “Limitless Possibilities”, Chef Urvin Croes wants to offer dishes made without boundaries, exploring new possibilities and stepping with two feet outside the box. A chef’s table concept where diners and staff are able to interact throughout the evening, channeling through a story guided by the menu.Urvin has worked in different roles starting as an apprentice cook and ending as a Chef de Partie and Sous-Chef for the highest-rated hotel restaurants on the island of Aruba. Next to the 'Old Mill' in Aruba you'll find a unique new restaurant, 'The Journey'. Michelin star trained chef Patrick van der Donk (Amuse Sunset restaurant) has made a very intimate chef's table concept. Credit card information will be required in order to hold reservation as well confirmation by phone.Not your usual bar seating set-up! Here you are able to dine at you own separate tables and still have a view of the chef creating your 5 1/2 course meal for a max of 20 guests per evening. Price $130 per dinner and $80 for the optional wine paring, small bar available.The evening starts at our cozy lounge with delicious hors d'oeuvres and bubbles, inside at a small and stylish set-up the chef will prepare every dish in front of his guests taking time to invite his guests over for a chat, he might even ask to help plating his dishes which gives a truly extraordinary dining experience.     Our meal at The Journey was amazing. The experience was fantastic start to finish. The personalized experience, the small group setting, The personal touches from the welcome outside with drinks and conversation to the breakdown of each dish by the chef was a wonderful way to add more context and excitement to the meal. The food itself was amazing, each dish was so flavorful and unique. My wife and I are not big seafood eaters but both agreed the snapper dish was our absolute favorite of the night. I would recommend anyone who wants to experience some of the best food in Aruba to go here. We are excited to come back next year and see what new exiting dishes there will be to try.

    CAYA was absolutely amazing. The chef’s creations are incredibly unique and delightful. We started off with the virgin mule and forbidden tea mocktails - which were both FANTASTIC. Then we were given 2 rolls with a creamy dip as a complementary item to start. These were honestly my favorite and tasted AMAZING. This set us up for huge expectations for the rest of the meal and they were definitely met. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Appetizers: Shrimp cocktail tacos AMAZING Tuna Tartar AMAZING Chicken Empanaditas AMAZING! Entree: Duck Breast WOWWWW these came with homemade raviolis in a better sauce and were browned to perfection. Braised Lamb Shank VERY TASTY. came with polenta, roasted veggies. A very rich dish but simply wonderful.

    Chef's Dinner was one of the highlights of our Aruba trip! Fun interacting with the chef and his assistant. Wine pairing was excellent. The amount of food was perfect for our group. (Similar dinners often serve too much food leaving you uncomfortable by the last course). Highly recommend!
