Young Joni is James Beard award-winning chef Ann Kim's restaurant located in the Arts District of Northeast Minneapolis. Dining Room reservations are offered for dinner and weekend brunch; walk-ins are available at our bar and community table.Young Joni is the recipient of 2019's James Beard Award for "Best Chef Midwest"; it has been featured in the New York Times and Vogue, and on Netflix's "Chef's Table: Pizza." Tucked discreetly behind Young Joni is the back bar, serving full and no-proof craft cocktails and pizzas in a warm, analog setting. Esquire named it one of 2019's Best Bars in America and Eater called it an "Essential Minneapolis Bar." Walk down the alley alongside Young Joni and look for the red light; when the light is on, the back bar is open. Back bar reservations are available, and walk-ins are always welcome.

The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. Previously operating as a speakeasy, the expansive wood panels were perfect for hiding a little booze and one can only imagine the shenanigans going on beyond the hidden staircase behind the coat check. For decades following, The Lex, as it’s called by locals and enthusiasts alike, was the place to be seen; business dealings, cocktail hours, and milestone celebrations were a regular occurrence for St. Paul socialites.

    A gem of a restaurant! We were warmly welcome at the door, promptly seated, great 4 course menu, friendly staff and owners. Perfect place to celebrate, or just enjoy delicious food.

    We had a fantastic evening! The service by Courtney was stellar- she was knowledgeable, visited our table at the right intervals, and was personable. The food was top notch- the shrimp cocktail was beautiful and delicious, calamari very good and the walleye cakes were good. The NY Strip steak was reported to be “ the best steak I ever had” my special- 10oz prime rib was delectable. Seafood bouillabaisse, ordered by an East coaster, said it was delicious- the only dish not as highly recommended was Wellington meatloaf. Birthday dessert and a group photo followed also had the grasshopper pie and tiramisu which were delightful! A pricey meal- but well worth it. A wonderful experience had by all!

    We had a great time as always. Alex was our server and he was EXCELLENT. Checked on us throughout the meal and was so helpful. Food was 10/10 and wine was 11/10.

    We had a LOVELY Christmas dinner at Kincaid's! My companion had the pork chop and I had the prime rib. Both were scrumptious! Our server, Lindsay, was outstanding- as sweet and attentive as could be! This was our third Christmas in a row at Kincaid's- it's become a wonderful tradition!

    Right away from entering the establishment the level of service was outstanding! I had dropped my girlfriend off at the the door and the staff knew right where she was. Pointed me in the right direction. While waiting for our table we had a drink at the bar & the staff there made great recommendations. Another hostess came to get us for our table. Once we were seated our server fully explained the menu for our first time being there. She was absolutely amazing! We took her recommendations for an appetizer and our steaks were cooked to perfection! The flavor profile was stunning! The level of service was absolutely outstanding! To end our evening experience we got to chat with Santa & Mrs Claus! When leaving the restaurant every staff member thanked us for coming in tonight. We look forward to dining again there!
