Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Amazing, as always a 10/10 experience. I’ve dined in at a lot of restaurants in Toronto but Akira will always be top 3 for me! Ambience and service is amazing. They value their patrons highly and I have no complaints every time I visit, also the food is always great. Recommend and will be returning x

We had an outstanding experience at Alder. My family had been trying to make the trip for some time and the anticipation only made our meal that much sweeter. Tiffany was very attentive and so lovely! She had great recommendations and personalized the experience in a really memorable way for all of us. Exceptional food and wine, and really fantastic service from the whole team — we did not want for anything. Thank you all very much!

My friend took me here for my birthday. Enjoyed trying the food. Tasted great. Service was good. The vibe was nice. We were there for Latin Tuesday. Another guest was there by himself and trying to converse with us, unexpectedly but he respected me trying to conclude the conversation. They surprised me with tres leches for dessert. The gelato/sorbet that came with it was the best I’ve had in Toronto. Thank you so much for making my bday special.
